Earlier this month, Stijn and I were invited to paint a mural at @thecrystalshipoostende, one of my dream festivals to be part of. Belgium is our second home, and it meant so much to create something for the people here, for our friends and family. I’m so grateful for the chance to share space with incredible artists from all over the world, and to create memories I’ll carry with me for a long time.
“Titik Temu”
This year’s theme for the festival is change, and I wanted to explore that idea through a lens that feels personal and ongoing. In the world of street art (particularly in Indonesia) the scene has long been male-dominated. But things are shifting. Slowly, we’re seeing more women pick up the brush, claim the walls, and tell their stories.
“Titik Temu,” which means meeting point, is a mural about connection, recognition, and the evolving presence of women in street art. Two women, perhaps reflections of one another, perhaps strangers, gently reach out to meet at the fingertips. It’s a quiet, powerful gesture that speaks to solidarity, growth, and the change that happens when women are seen, supported, and celebrated.

Thank you Jasmin, Exel, Jarne, Elline, Peter, Niels, and the rest of The Crystal Ship team for having us and for the warmth, laughs, and support throughout those two weeks.
Dan terima kasih banyak Bapak Andri Hadi, Ambassador of Indonesia in Belgium dan teman-teman KBRI @indonesiainbrussels, for the visit and support.
