I’m very happy and honoured to be part of Baladk Street Art Festival this year. The moment they invited me I immediately said yes and of course I had the best experience in Jordan! Massive thanks to @baladk team for organising it and for the amazing hospitality! 🔥❤️

The design is inspired by the Indonesian concept of Gotong Royong. This concept is about mutual cooperation, as an obligation of individuals towards society to share burdens between the member of community. This interaction can develop towards meaningful long lasting friendships between the members of community and build trust. The image depicts two women sharing their burdens and supporting each other. In this way Gotong Royong can help tackle the issue of public perceptions and misconceptions surrounding mental illness, and help normalising the discussion about it.
